Creator: Quentin Fiore and Johnstone & Cushing

Art Directors Club of New York’s 30th Annual of Advertising and Editorial Art was designed by Ladislav Sutnar and published in 1951. The back of the book had several pages of advertisements. Here is the page with advertisements for designer Quentin Fiore (1920–2019) and the art studio Johnstone & Cushing. Fiore is best known for his design of Marshall McLuhan’s book, The Medium is the Massage. Fiore also designed McLuhan’s War and Peace in the Global Village and Buckminster Fuller’s book, I Seem to Be a Verb
